Wuhu, located in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River, is a city with a long history of more than 2, 000 years. It covers an area of 5,988 square kilometers with a population of 3.85 million. The urban area covers 1,292 square kilometers with 1.36 million residents.

     Wuhu enjoys convenient transport and functional logistic services. Wuhu Port is capable of berthing cargo vessels of 10,000 tons. It is centered in rail and road networks of East China. Moreover, a freeway web is being woven in the neighboring areas, and it only takes about an hour’s drive to Nanjing Lukou International Airport and two hours and a half’s drive to Hefei Xinqiao International  Airport respectively.

     This is a city full of vigor and energy. With the birth of Chery Automobile, a Chinese renowned sedan brand, auto and auto parts, electronics and electronic appliances, new-type material, electric wires and cables have become the four pillar industries of our city, which have made it a national advanced manufacturing base.
